About

Anna Dua is a sports host and reporter working for the National Hockey League (NHL), NHL.com and NHL Network.


Dua graduated with a B.A. in Sport Media and a minor in Sociology from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada in 2021 and joined the National Hockey League in March 2022 after covering the NHL with NBC Sports from 2019 - 2022.


She is a dual-citizen between the United States and Canada and grew up playing ice hockey, in addition to becoming a certified hockey coach. She channels her passion for sports from being a lifelong athlete into coverage as a sports reporter.


Dua made her NHL Network debut as a 23-year-old in June 2022 and since then has covered major NHL events such as the Winter Classic and Stadium Series, in addition to routine coverage of the regular season and Stanley Cup Playoffs for the League and the Network.

Skills

  • Ice hockey player and hockey coach
  • On-air experience in the following formats: studio, rinkside, in-arena hosting, radio and podcasting
  • Writing experience with articles and columns featured on NHL.com
  • Production experience and proficiency in all of Adobe Creative Suite, as well as other industry editing softwares (i.e. Final Cut Pro)
  • Advanced knowledge of lighting techniques, experience with cameras and solid understanding of audio
